У мій восьмий день народження батьки подарували мені новий велосипед. Він був яскраво-червоний з блискучим дзвінком. Я був дуже щасливий, але також трохи боявся. Я ніколи раніше не їздив на двоколісному велосипеді.\n\n— Не хвилюйся, Андрію, — сказав тато. — Я буду тримати тебе.\n\nМи пішли в парк. Там була довга рівна доріжка. Я сів на велосипед і міцно тримав кермо. Мої руки трохи тремтіли. Тато тримав велосипед за сидіння.\n— Починай крутити педалі, — скомандував він.\n\nЯ почав крутити педалі. Велосипед хитався то вліво, то вправо. \n— Я падаю! — кричав я.\n— Ні, ти їдеш! Я тебе тримаю! — заспокоював тато.\n\nМи тренувалися цілу годину. Я впав три рази. Перший раз я подряпав коліно. Це було боляче, і я хотів плакати.\n— Хочеш піти додому? — запитав тато.\nЯ подивився на свій гарний червоний велосипед. \n— Ні, я хочу навчитися! — відповів я.\n\nНаступного дня ми знову прийшли в парк. Я знову сів на велосипед. Раптом я відчув, що їду дуже легко. Я озирнувся і побачив, що тато стоїть далеко ззаду.\n— Тату! Я сам! Я їду сам! — кричав я від радості.\n\nЦе було дивовижне відчуття. Вітер дув мені в обличчя. Я відчув себе птахом. Тепер велосипед — мій найкращий друг. Я зрозумів: якщо ти не здаєшся, ти обов'язково переможеш!
