En el centro del patio hay un tobogán azul y amarillo. El tobogán es alto y largo. Subo por las escaleras de metal. Luego me siento en la parte de arriba. Deslizo rápido hasta abajo. Es muy divertido y emocionante.
También hay columpios de color rojo. Los columpios tienen cadenas largas y asientos de plástico. Me siento en el columpio y mis amigos me empujan. Vuelo alto hacia el cielo. Siento el aire en mi cara cuando subo y bajo.
Hay una caja de arena grande en una esquina. La arena es amarilla y fina. Juego con palas y cubos de plástico. Construyo castillos de arena altos. Pongo banderas de palitos en la torre principal. Los castillos son muy bonitos.
Cerca de la caja de arena hay un área de trepar. Tiene redes de cuerda y barras de metal. Trepo como un mono ágil. Llego hasta la parte más alta. Desde allí veo todo el patio. Me siento valiente y fuerte.
Hay un banco de madera bajo un árbol grande. El árbol da sombra fresca en verano. Nos sentamos en el banco a descansar. Abrimos nuestras loncheras y comemos juntos. Compartimos galletas y frutas entre amigos.
En el patio también hay aros de baloncesto. Son altos y de color naranja. Intentamos lanzar la pelota en el aro. A veces entra y todos aplaudimos. A veces no entra y nos reímos. Intentamos una y otra vez hasta lograrlo.
Hay líneas blancas pintadas en el suelo. Las líneas marcan áreas para diferentes juegos. Una zona es para fútbol. Otra zona es para correr carreras. Cada juego tiene su espacio especial. Así todos jugamos organizados.
Mi amigo Pedro juega siempre a las canicas. Trae canicas de colores de su casa. Hacemos círculos en la tierra. Intentamos meter las canicas en el círculo. Quien mete más canicas gana el juego. Pedro siempre gana porque practica mucho.
Las niñas juegan a la comba con cuerdas largas. Dos niñas mueven la cuerda en círculo. Las demás saltan dentro y fuera. Cantan canciones mientras saltan. Las canciones son sobre flores y mariposas. Es muy divertido verlas jugar.
El patio tiene una fuente de agua potable. Es de metal y plateada. El agua sale fría y clara. Bebemos agua cuando tenemos sed. También nos lavamos las manos sucias. El agua refresca en los días calurosos.
Cerca de la entrada hay un jardín con flores. Las flores son de colores vivos. Hay rosas rojas, margaritas blancas y girasoles amarillos. Las abejas vuelan de flor en flor. No tocamos las flores para no dañarlas.
El maestro de educación física nos organiza juegos. A veces jugamos a la gallinita ciega. Un niño tapa los ojos y busca a los demás. Corremos y nos escondimos. El que encuentra gana y tapa los ojos.
Cuando llueve, el patio se moja y no podemos jugar afuera.
