La televisión es un medio de comunicación muy popular en España. Casi todas las casas tienen una o dos televisiones. Las familias españolas ven la televisión durante la comida o por la noche antes de dormir. Es un hábito social muy común.\n\nEn España hay canales públicos y canales privados. El canal público más antiguo es TVE, Televisión Española. Este canal tiene noticias, documentales y programas de cultura. Los canales privados suelen tener más series, concursos y películas de Hollywood.\n\nLas noticias son muy importantes. Se llaman "El Telediario" o "Las Noticias". Hay noticias por la mañana, a las tres de la tarde y a las nueve de la noche. Muchas personas ven las noticias para saber qué pasa en el país y en el mundo.\n\nUn programa muy típico de España es el concurso. Hay concursos de preguntas difíciles y concursos de canciones. "Saber y Ganar" es un concurso cultural muy famoso que lleva muchos años en la televisión. A la gente le gusta jugar desde casa con su familia.\n\nLas series españolas son ahora famosas en todo el mundo. Hay series de misterio, de historia y de humor. Muchas de estas series se pueden ver en plataformas de internet. Ver series es una forma excelente de practicar el idioma español y escuchar diferentes acentos.\n\nEl fútbol es el rey de la televisión. Cuando hay un partido importante de la selección española o de equipos famosos mucha gente ve la tele. Los bares también ponen el fútbol en pantallas grandes para sus clientes. El ambiente es muy emocionante.\n\nLa televisión en España está cambiando. Ahora muchas personas prefieren ver programas a la carta en internet. Pero la televisión tradicional sigue siendo un punto de reunión para la familia. Es una ventana a la realidad y a la cultura del país.
