En el sur de España, especialmente en la ciudad de Córdoba, existe una tradición muy hermosa: los patios de flores. Un patio es un espacio abierto en el centro de las casas donde las familias pasan el tiempo.

Debido al calor del verano, los patios son lugares frescos y agradables. Las paredes suelen ser de color blanco para reflejar la luz del sol. Pero lo más importante de estos patios son las plantas y las flores de mil colores.

En las paredes blancas, las familias cuelgan cientos de macetas con flores como geranios, gitanillas y claveles. Los colores rojo, rosa y azul contrastan con el blanco de la cal. Es una imagen de una belleza increíble.

Cuidar un patio requiere mucho trabajo y paciencia. Los dueños de las casas riegan las flores cada día y las protegen del sol fuerte. Para ellos, el patio es el corazón de su hogar y el orgullo de su familia.
