Origen de la Palabra
La palabra tapa viene del verbo tapar. Antes se ponía una rodaja de pan sobre la copa de vino. Esto protegía la bebida de insectos y polvo. Con el tiempo, el pan se sustituyó por comida sabrosa.
Variedades de Tapas
Hay tapas frías y calientes. Las aceitunas son muy comunes. El jamón ibérico es exquisito. Las bravas son patatas con salsa picante. Los calamares a la romana son crujientes.
