El cinco de enero por la tarde hay una fiesta muy especial. Los Reyes Magos llegan a cada ciudad en una cabalgata. Montan en camellos o en carrozas grandes. Tiran caramelos a los niños. La gente canta y baila en las calles.
La noche mágica
El cinco de enoche por la noche, los niños tienen mucha emoción. Dejan sus zapatos junto al árbol de Navidad o en la ventana. Ponen zanahorias y agua para los camellos. Escriben cartas a los Reyes pidiendo regalos.
La mañana del seis de enero
El seis de enero es el día más importante para los niños españoles. Se despiertan temprano por la mañana. Buscan sus zapatos y encuentran regalos. Si fueron buenos, reciben juguetes y dulces. Si fueron malos, reciben carbón dulce.
El Roscón de Reyes
Después de abrir los regalos, la familia come el Roscón de Reyes. Es un pastel grande en forma de anillo. Tiene frutas de colores arriba. Dentro hay sorpresas escondidas. Quien encuentra un regalito pequeño es el rey del día.
Una tradición única
En España los Reyes Magos traen más regalos que Papá Noel. Esta tradición viene de hace siglos. Las familias mantienen esta costumbre con mucho amor. Es una de las fiestas más bonitas del año.
