Rembrandt and The Standard Bearer: A Museum Dossier and a Press Release on the Purchase
A C2 Ukrainian reading about Rembrandt's The Standard Bearer: an author-written museum dossier, a press release on the 2021 intention to buy and a dated summary of the completed purchase and display at the Rijksmuseum.
Рембрандт і «Прапороносець»: музейна довідка та прес-реліз про купівлю
Rewriting a museum dossier as a press release while keeping the difference between supposition, intention and fact: «Рембрандта, ймовірно, надихнула гравюра», «Нідерландська держава оголошує про намір придбати» and «Якщо придбання вдасться».
The text gives two author-written pieces about Rembrandt's The Standard Bearer: a museum dossier with cautious suppositions and a press release in the manner of the announcement of 8 December 2021 on the intention to buy, with the contributions. A separate paragraph based on later Rijksmuseum releases reports the purchase in January 2022 and the display in the Gallery of Honour on 14 June 2023.
