Привітання — це перше, що ви говорите при зустрічі. В Україні є багато різних привітань. Важливо знати, як вітатися правильно.

"Привіт!" — це неформальне привітання. Так кажуть друзям і знайомим. Так кажуть молоді люди.

"Добрий день!" — це офіційне привітання. Так кажуть незнайомим людям. Так кажуть у магазині, на роботі, в офіційних місцях.

"Доброго ранку!" — так кажуть зранку. "Добрий вечір!" — так кажуть увечері. Це ввічливі привітання.

Коли ви знайомитесь, ви кажете: "Мене звати..." Відповідь: "Дуже приємно!" або "Радий познайомитися!"

Питання "Як справи?" — це стандартне запитання. Відповідь: "Добре, дякую!" або "Нормально". Або: "Все добре!"

Коли ви прощаєтесь, ви кажете "До побачення!" або просто "Бувай!" Друзям кажуть "Па-па!" або "Поки!"

В Україні люди часто обіймаються при зустрічі. Друзі тиснуть руки. Жінки часто цілують в щоку. Це нормально.

Якщо ви не знаєте слова, скажіть: "Вибачте, я не розумію." Або: "Повторіть, будь ласка." Це корисні фрази.

"Будь ласка" — це слово ввічливості. "Дякую" — це подяка. "Пробачте" або "Вибачте" — це вибачення. Ці три слова дуже важливі.

Вивчіть ці привітання. Використовуйте їх щодня. Українці дуже раді, коли іноземці говорять по-українськи.

Ukrainian has two types of address: «ти» (friends) and «ви» (formal). «Pryvit!» = ty. «Dobryi den!» = vy.
