La corrida de toros es una tradición muy antigua en España. No es solo un espectáculo, sino parte de la cultura española. Para entenderla, necesitamos mirar su historia.

Los Orígenes
Al principio, la corrida no era como la conocemos hoy. En la Edad Media, los nobles y caballeros montaban a caballo y cazaban toros salvajes. Era un ejercicio de valentía y habilidad. No se hacía en una plaza, sino en el campo.

La Corrida Moderna
Con el tiempo, la corrida cambió. La gente empezó a verla en plazas, no en el campo. En el siglo XVIII, la corrida a pie se hizo más popular. Las personas que peleaban con el toro, los toreros, ya no eran solo nobles. Eran profesionales que practicaban mucho.
