Dear Leo , I am very happy to write this email to you . In this letter , I want to tell you about my friend Ken . Ken lives in Tokyo , Japan . His home is not far from a train station , and he travels across the city every school day . Ken has a very busy but interesting life , and he always wakes up early . His day starts at 6 : 30 . He washes his face , brushes his teeth , and puts on his blue school uniform . Then he goes to the kitchen for breakfast . He usually eats rice , eggs , and fruit . Sometimes he drinks green tea , but he never drinks coffee . Before he leaves home , Ken often helps his family . He washes the vegetables or sets the table . Then he takes his school bag and walks to the station . The train is always very crowded , but Ken likes to read books during his journey . He often sees office workers , students , tourists , and families on the train . When the train arrives at Shinjuku Station , many people get off , and many more get on . Ken likes the energy of the station , but he always watches the clock because he does not want to be late for school . At school , Ken studies English , maths , science , and history . He likes English because he wants to speak with people from other countries . At lunch , he eats with his friends and tells them funny stories about his train journey . After school , Ken does not go home immediately . He belongs to the school baseball club . The team practices three times a week . Ken runs , catches the ball , and hits it with a bat . He enjoys this sport very much because it keeps him active . After baseball practice , Ken takes the train home . In the evening , he does his homework and helps in the kitchen again . He always finishes his tasks before dinner . Then he talks with his family , reads a little , and goes to bed . On weekends , he sleeps a bit longer and visits his grandparents . Sometimes they cook together , and sometimes they walk in a small park near their home . I think Ken's life is busy , but he enjoys it .
