My name is Oliver , and I am an exchange student from Sweden . Currently , I live with a lovely host family in the city of Bristol , England . The family is very kind to me . The parents , Mr . and Mrs . Green , have two children , Lily and Sam . Their house is big and cozy , but their lifestyle is very different from my family's routine . Mr . Green is a secondary school teacher . He loves books , history , and quiet evenings . He is a very calm person , and he does not watch television . He says that television is too noisy and distracting . Mrs . Green works as a nurse at a local clinic . She works long shifts , so she does not cook every day . On busy days , Mr . Green prepares dinner for everyone . The children , Lily and Sam , are very active . Lily plays tennis , and Sam loves football . They are good students , and they always do their homework before dinner . However , they have some strict household rules . They do not play video games during weekdays . Their parents do not allow them to use phones in the kitchen . Also , they do not eat sweet snacks before bedtime . Our dinner time is always very interesting . We sit together around the large dining table at seven o'clock . We talk about our day and share funny stories . The Greens eat very healthy meals . They do not buy fast food , and they do not drink sugary sodas . They prefer fresh vegetables , grilled chicken , and plain water . My routine is also a bit different here . In Sweden , I usually sleep until late , but here I do not wake up late . I rise at seven o'clock because my school starts early . I walk to the school with Lily and Sam . We do not take the school bus because the school is very close to our house . On weekends , we often visit beautiful places near Bristol . We go to parks , walk along the river , or visit museums . We do not stay at home all day because we like to be active . I do not feel lonely here because my host family is wonderful . I enjoy every day of my exchange year .
