At lunch we must eat in the canteen or the outdoor area . We must not bring glass bottles into the building . We have to return trays and cups to the counter after we finish . The kitchen staff said we should wash our hands before every meal . In the library we must work quietly . We must not eat or drink near the books . We have to borrow books with our library card . Ms Cole said we should return books on time so others can read them . For sports lessons we must wear proper shoes on the field . We must not run in the corridors after wet weather . These rules feel strict , but they keep our school safe and calm . We must follow them every day . We should ask teachers if we are not sure about a rule .
