I am Jake . Next week my class travels to the coast for two days , and Mom sat with me on Sunday to talk about the trip . She said I should pack light because we will walk a lot on the cliffs . I must not forget my rain jacket if the weather turns cold . Mom wrote a short list on a card . She said I should keep my phone charged and bring a small power bank . I have to share a room with two classmates , so I should label my towel and toothbrush . She told me I must listen to our teacher Ms Lee at all times . We talked about money for snacks . Mom said I should not spend everything on the first day . I must ask the teacher before I buy souvenirs in the gift shop . Students have to bring a packed lunch on the bus , but the hotel will serve dinner . Mom asked about bedtime rules on the trip . She said I should sleep when the teachers say lights out . I should stay behind the fence on the cliff path . I must not climb on wet rocks after the tide goes out . The guide said groups have to stay together when we visit the lighthouse . Mom packed a small first - aid kit in my bag . She said I should tell Ms Lee if I feel sick or dizzy . I must not hide a headache because the walk is long . Teachers have to know when a student needs rest or water . We discussed clothes for the beach activity . Mom said I should wear trainers that grip well on sand and stone . I must not go barefoot on the pebble beach without permission . I have to bring a hat because the sun can feel strong in the afternoon . Before I left for bed , Mom gave me one last piece of advice . She said I should write a short note in my diary each evening . I must remember to thank the hotel staff when we leave . Good travelers should show respect in every new place . On Monday morning Mom hugged me at the bus stop . She said I should enjoy the trip and learn from the experience . I told her I will follow her advice because it keeps me safe and calm . Ms Lee said students must be ready to board at eight sharp .
