Hace mucho, mucho tiempo, la gente vivía en Andalucía. Eran fenicios y griegos. Ellos llegaron en barco. Querían comerciar y encontraron cosas buenas aquí.
Los Romanos en Andalucía
Después llegaron los romanos. ¡Fueron muy importantes! Construyeron ciudades, puentes y carreteras. Hablaban latín, y del latín viene el español que hablamos hoy. Muchos monumentos antiguos en Andalucía son de la época romana.
La Época Musulmana: Al-Ándalus
Una parte muy famosa de la historia de Andalucía es la época musulmana. En el año 711, los musulmanes llegaron de África. Se quedaron casi 800 años. A esta parte de España la llamaron Al-Ándalus.
Durante este tiempo, Andalucía fue muy rica e importante. Las ciudades como Córdoba, Sevilla y Granada eran muy grandes y bonitas. Había muchos jardines, palacios y mezquitas. También eran centros de ciencia y arte. La Alhambra en Granada es un ejemplo famoso de esta época.
La Reconquista
Poco a poco, los reyes cristianos del norte de España querían recuperar las tierras. Esto se llama la Reconquista. La última ciudad musulmana en caer fue Granada, en el año 1492. Fue un año muy importante para España.
Después de 1492
Después de la Reconquista, Andalucía siguió siendo importante. Sevilla, por ejemplo, era el puerto principal para los barcos que iban a América.
Hoy, Andalucía es una región con mucha cultura, música y comida deliciosa. Su historia es una mezcla de muchas culturas: romana, musulmana y cristiana. Por eso es tan especial.
