Llegamos al puerto por la mañana y el sol brillaba intensamente. El barco era grande y tenía velas blancas muy altas. El capitán nos dio la bienvenida y nos entregó chalecos salvavidas. Nos explicó que la seguridad es lo más importante en el mar. Cuando el motor encendió y el barco empezó a moverse, sentí un cosquilleo en el estómago. Ver el puerto haciéndose pequeño mientras nos alejábamos fue una sensación increíble.
Una vez que estuvimos en mar abierto, el capitán apagó el motor y subió las velas. El silencio era maravilloso, solo se escuchaba el sonido del viento y las olas golpeando suavemente el casco del barco. El aire olía a sal y estaba muy fresco. Mi hermana y yo nos sentamos en la parte delantera del barco para ver el agua azul profundo. De repente, vi algo saltando en la distancia. ¡Eran delfines!
Un grupo de delfines empezó a nadar cerca del barco. Saltaban y hacían piruetas en el agua como si estuvieran saludándonos. Fue el momento más emocionante de todo el viaje. Mi mamá sacó muchas fotos mientras nosotros gritábamos de alegría. El capitán nos dijo que los delfines son animales muy inteligentes y curiosos que disfrutan acompañando a los barcos durante un rato.
Después de ver a los delfines, el capitán nos llevó a una pequeña bahía escondida que solo es accesible por mar. El agua allí era de un color turquesa transparente y se podían ver los peces nadando en el fondo. Nos permitieron bajar del barco para nadar un poco. El agua estaba fresca y deliciosa. Usé mis gafas de buceo para ver las rocas y las algas marinas. Encontré una caracola muy bonita, pero la dejé en su lugar porque es importante no llevarse nada de la naturaleza.
Al mediodía, almorzamos en el barco. Comimos sándwiches de atún y frutas frescas mientras disfrutábamos de la vista de los acantilados. El capitán nos contó historias sobre piratas y antiguos navegantes que recorrían estas mismas costas hace cientos de años. Me imaginé que yo era un explorador descubriendo tierras nuevas. Mi papá me dejó ayudar a mover el timón por un momento y me sentí como un verdadero marinero.
Por la tarde, empezamos el camino de regreso al puerto. El sol empezaba a bajar y el cielo se puso de color naranja y rosa. Fue un atardecer precioso visto desde el mar. Estaba un poco cansado por el sol y el agua, pero me sentía muy feliz. Aprendí que el mar es un lugar inmenso y lleno de vida que debemos cuidar y respetar siempre.
