Mi abuelo es artesano de azulejos. Tiene un taller pequeño en su pueblo. Desde niño voy a visitarlo. Me encanta ver cómo trabaja. Usa colores vivos: azul, amarillo, verde. Sus diseños son flores y formas geométricas. Cada azulejo es único y especial. El año pasado me enseñó a pintar. Al principio no me salía bien. Las líneas salían torcidas. Mi abuelo me dijo que no importara. Que la práctica hace al maestro. Practiqué todo el verano. Mejoré mucho con el tiempo. Mi abuelo estaba orgulloso de mí. Un día hizo un banco de azulejos para el patio. Me dejó pintar algunos detalles. Fue emocionante ver mi trabajo en algo real. El banco ahora está en su jardín. Cuando voy a visitarlo, me siento en él. Recuerdo aquel verano con cariño. Mi abuelo dice que el arte de los azulejos es antiguo. Vino de los árabes hace siglos. Pero en España tenemos nuestro estilo propio. Cada región tiene diseños diferentes. En Andalucía son muy famosos. Yo quiero seguir aprendiendo. Quizás algún día tenga mi propio taller. Por ahora siento afortunado de tener a mi abuelo como maestro.
