Esta escena es ficticia, pero los datos del museo son reales. Rosa y su nieto Martín visitan el Museo del Ferrocarril de Madrid. Los dos están contentos y entran por primera vez.

El museo está en la antigua estación de Delicias. La estación abre en 1880 y el museo abre al público en 1984. Hoy el edificio no funciona como una estación regular de pasajeros.

Rosa y Martín caminan por un andén. A la derecha hay una locomotora de vapor. Al lado de ella hay una locomotora eléctrica. También ven una locomotora diésel y un coche de viajeros.

Martín pregunta:
MARTÍN: Abuela, ¿qué tren te gusta más?
ROSA: Me gusta la locomotora de vapor. Es grande y elegante.
MARTÍN: Yo prefiero la locomotora eléctrica.

La nave central muestra locomotoras y coches de viajeros. Estas piezas explican cambios en los trenes de España. Rosa lee los carteles y Martín hace preguntas.

Después entran en la Sala de Relojes. Rosa siempre mira los relojes con atención. Martín busca el reloj más pequeño, pero no lo encuentra.

Antes de salir, los dos descansan cerca del andén. Rosa compra una postal y Martín dibuja una locomotora en su cuaderno.
