What you'll learn

Present tense and the verb querer, with fair words: portada, caseta, sevillanas and traje de flamenca.

The April Fair in Seville starts about two weeks after Holy Week and lasts about a week. At night the narrator wants to enter the family caseta, which is private, where cousin Inés is dancing. The portada is covered in colored lights. By day, horses and carriages pass; some casetas are public and some are not. Many flamenco dresses have ruffles, flowers and polka dots, but not all. Sevillanas have four parts. Inés opens the canvas and the narrator goes in.
