The human body has many parts. We use our body every day. Our body helps us do many things. We can walk, run, jump, and play. We can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Our body is amazing.

The head is at the top of the body. On the head, we have eyes, ears, a nose, and a mouth. We use our eyes to see. We use our ears to hear. We use our nose to smell. We use our mouth to eat and speak. We also have hair on our head.

The neck is below the head. The neck connects the head to the body. Below the neck, we have shoulders. We have two arms. Each arm has a hand. Each hand has five fingers. We use our hands to hold things. We use our fingers to write and type.

Below the arms, we have the body or trunk. The body has the chest and the stomach. The heart is inside the chest. The heart pumps blood. The stomach helps us digest food. We breathe with our lungs. The lungs are also inside the chest.

Below the body, we have two legs. Each leg has a foot. Each foot has five toes. We use our legs to walk and run. We use our feet to stand. We wear shoes on our feet to protect them.

It is important to take care of our body. We should eat healthy food. We should eat fruits and vegetables. We should drink water every day. Water is good for our body. We should not eat too much sugar.

We should exercise every day. Exercise makes our body strong. We can walk, run, or play sports. We can swim or dance. Exercise is fun and good for us. It keeps us healthy.

We should sleep well at night. Sleep helps our body rest. Children need about ten hours of sleep. Adults need about eight hours of sleep. When we sleep, our body repairs itself.

Sometimes, we get sick. When we are sick, we do not feel well. We might have a fever. We might have a cough. We might have a headache. When we are sick, we should rest at home. We should drink water. We should see a doctor if we are very sick.

A doctor helps people when they are sick. Doctors know about the body. They give medicine to help people feel better. Medicine can help with pain and fever. We should take medicine only when a doctor says so.

We should keep our body clean. We wash our hands with soap and water. We brush our teeth every day. We take a shower or bath. Being clean helps us stay healthy. It prevents germs.

Our body is special. We should respect our body. We should take good care of it. A healthy body helps us have a happy life. We can do many things when we are healthy.
