I like watching sports on television. It is very exciting. My family has a big TV in the living room. On weekends, we watch sports together. My father likes football. My mother likes tennis. My sister likes swimming. I like all sports.

Last Sunday, we watched a big football match. It was between two famous teams. The teams played in a big stadium. Many people were in the stadium. They shouted and sang songs. The players ran fast on the grass. They kicked the ball with their feet. The goalkeepers tried to stop the ball.

The match was very close. The score was two to two. In the last minute, one team scored a goal. The crowd cheered loudly. The players were happy. They jumped and hugged each other. My father shouted with happiness too. My sister clapped her hands. It was a great game.

Sometimes we watch tennis on TV. Tennis is different from football. Tennis players use a racket. They hit a small ball over a net. The ball moves very fast. The players run from left to right. They jump high to hit the ball. I like watching tennis because the players are very fit.

We also watch the Olympic Games on TV. The Olympic Games happen every four years. Athletes from many countries come together. They run, swim, jump, and throw things. The best athletes win gold medals. The national anthem plays for the winners. The athletes stand on a podium. They look very proud.

Watching sports on TV is fun. I learn about different sports. I see how the players move. I learn new words about sports. My father explains the rules to me. He tells me why the referee blows the whistle. He shows me when a player makes a mistake.

I have a favorite sports team. I wear their shirt when I watch their games. The team has blue and white colors. When they win, I am happy. When they lose, I am sad. But I always support them. My friends support different teams. We talk about our teams at school.

Sports on TV have commentators. They speak during the game. They tell us what is happening. They get excited when someone scores. They speak fast and loud. Sometimes they speak in English. This helps me learn English words about sports.

I want to go to a real stadium one day. I want to see a live match. I want to hear the crowd cheer. I want to eat snacks at the stadium. My father says we can go next year. I am very excited about this. For now, I enjoy watching sports on TV with my family.
