Hi Emma , I hope you are well . I am writing on Sunday evening at home because I wanted to share my summer plans before school ends in June . My family booked a cottage near the coast for two weeks in July , and I am already excited about long walks on the beach at sunrise . We are leaving on Saturday the fifth at eight in the morning because Dad prefers quiet roads before traffic grows heavy on the motorway . Mom packed lists last night , and she asked me to check them because I like organising bags and labels for each day . Do you remember our trip to the lake two years ago ? I liked swimming there in the afternoon , and you loved renting the small boat near the pier . This year the cottage has a garden , and my brother wants to play football on the grass after breakfast at nine . I do not know if you can visit , but I hope you might come for three days in the second week . Grandma could drive you on Wednesday morning , and she knows the area because she spent holidays there as a child . You could sleep in the spare room , and we could cook pasta together in the evening . The town holds a market on Fridays in the square near the harbour , and vendors sell fish , bread , and fruit from local farms . I enjoy tasting cheese samples , and Dad likes talking to fishermen because he learns which fish are fresh on each day . Does your brother like the sea ? Mine does not enjoy cold water in early July , but he likes building sand towers when the tide is low at four in the afternoon . Maybe your brother would join us on the beach if weather stays warm and calm . Please tell me your answer before the end of May because Mom needs numbers for beds and meals .
