La Alhambra en Granada es uno de los lugares Patrimonio de la Humanidad más famosos de España. Es un palacio y fortaleza árabe que fue construido en el siglo XIII. La Alhambra es muy conocida por sus hermosos jardines, fuentes y arquitectura islámica. Los visitantes pueden ver los patios decorados con azulejos y las salas con techos artísticamente tallados. El Centro Histórico de Santiago de Compostela también es Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Santiago de Compostela es una ciudad muy importante para los cristianos porque es el final del Camino de Santiago. La catedral de la ciudad es muy famosa y hermosa. El centro histórico tiene muchas calles estrechas y edificios antiguos de piedra. Caminar por estas calles es como viajar al pasado. La ciudad es visitada por muchos peregrinos que terminan su camino en la catedral.
La obra de Antoni Gaudí en Barcelona también es Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Gaudí fue un arquitecto muy famoso que diseñó edificios únicos y originales. La Sagrada Familia es su obra más conocida. Esta iglesia tiene torres muy altas y una fachada decorada con esculturas que representan escenas de la Biblia. Otros edificios de Gaudí como Park Güell y Casa Batlló también son muy famosos por sus formas orgánicas y colores brillantes.
Las Cuevas de Altamira son otro lugar Patrimonio de la Humanidad muy importante. Estas cuevas tienen pinturas rupestres que fueron hechas por humanos hace más de 15,000 años. Las pinturas representan animales como bisontes, caballos y ciervos. Son un ejemplo muy importante del arte prehistórico en Europa. Las cuevas originales están cerradas al público para proteger las pinturas, pero hay una réplica que los visitantes pueden ver.
El Camino de Santiago también es Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Es una ruta de peregrinación que atraviesa el norte de España. Los peregrinos caminan durante semanas o meses para llegar a Santiago de Compostela. El camino pasa por ciudades, pueblos y paisajes muy bonitos.
