La Semana Santa es una celebración religiosa muy importante en España. Se celebra cada año en primavera, antes de la Pascua. Durante esta semana, los cristianos recuerdan la muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo. Las procesiones son el elemento central de esta festividad.

Las procesiones consisten en grupos de personas que caminan por las calles. Llevan imágenes religiosas llamadas pasos. Los pasos son esculturas que representan escenas de la pasión de Cristo. Hay torrijas, que son un dulce tradicional hecho con pan, leche y azúcar. Las potajes de garbanzos con espinacas son típicos en muchos lugares.

La Semana Santa es una experiencia única para los visitantes. Muchos turistas vienen a España para ver estas celebraciones. Es una mezcla de arte, religión, emoción y tradición. Las calles se transforman y la ciudad vive una atmósfera especial durante toda la semana.
