On a hot day, the wind helps us feel cool. We like to feel the wind on our face. Birds fly in the air. They use the wind to help them fly high in the sky.
Kites fly in the wind too. Children like to fly kites when the wind blows. The wind pushes the kite up. The kite goes high in the air.
Air is inside balloons too. When we blow air into a balloon, it gets big. The air stays inside the balloon. If we let the air out, the balloon becomes small again.
We need clean air to be healthy. Clean air is good for our body. Dirty air is bad for us. Plants help make clean air. They take in bad air and give us good air.
The wind can be fast or slow. A fast wind can be strong. A slow wind is gentle. We can hear the wind when it blows through the trees. It makes a sound.
Sometimes the wind brings clouds. The clouds bring rain. The rain helps the plants grow. The rain gives water to the earth.
Air and wind are part of nature. They are important for all living things. We need air to breathe. The wind helps move the air around the world.
