Many people have pets like dogs or cats . Usually , cats are very active , they run around the house , and they chase little toys . However , my cat Whiskers is different . Whiskers is a very beautiful cat with long gray fur , but she does not behave like a normal cat . First of all , Whiskers does not chase mice . If a mouse runs across the room , she does not look at it . She just continues to sit on her favorite soft armchair . She does not care about mice or small bugs . My friends do not understand this , but I think she is just very peaceful . Whiskers also has unusual eating habits . She does not like fish , and she does not drink milk . Most cats love milk , but Whiskers does not touch her milk bowl . Instead , she prefers water and boiled vegetables . She often eats carrots , but she does not eat raw meat . It is very strange for a cat ! Furthermore , she does not sleep on the floor or in a pet basket . She does not like small boxes either . Whiskers always sleeps on my bed or on the kitchen table when I do not look . She does not enjoy sleeping alone , so she always stays near me . Whiskers does not make any loud noises . She does not meow in the morning when she wants food . She just sits quietly near her plate and waits for her breakfast . She does not scratch the furniture , and she does not break my flower pots . She is a very polite and gentle pet . When my friends visit my house , Whiskers does not run away . She does not hide under the sofa like other cats . She welcomes the guests , but she does not jump on their laps . She just sits on her chair and observes everyone . She does not like loud music , so she leaves the room if the TV is too loud . Whiskers does not go outside very often . She does not like rain , and she does not enjoy cold wind . When the weather is bad , she does not leave her warm spot near the heater . I love my unusual cat very much . She does not have a typical cat lifestyle , but she is a wonderful companion . We do not need a loud or wild pet ; we just enjoy our quiet days together .
