The Green Street Community Garden is a beautiful oasis in a crowded town . Every week , local neighbors gather here to plant flowers , grow organic vegetables , and enjoy fresh air together . The garden has a simple but organized timetable to coordinate everyone's help . Let us look at their weekly activities . The main gathering always happens on Saturdays . Every Saturday morning at ten o'clock , neighbors meet at the central wooden shed . The garden leader , Thomas , gives tasks to everyone . They work together until one o'clock in the afternoon . After their work , they always share a simple picnic lunch under the big oak tree . During weekdays , people visit the garden at different times . Once a week , on Monday evenings , a group of retirees waters all the young plants . They usually start at six o'clock and finish when the sun goes down . Twice a week , on Tuesdays and Thursdays , school children visit the garden in the afternoon . They arrive at three o'clock to learn about nature and help pull weeds . Some tasks happen on specific days of the month . Once a month , on the first Sunday , they organize a big cleaning day . They clean the paths , repair the wooden fences , and paint the benches . This event always begins at nine o'clock and finishes at noon . Twice a month , on Friday nights , they have an outdoor community dinner . Everyone brings some food , and they cook over a campfire from seven to ten o'clock . The garden has strict rules about watering . During hot summer months , members water the vegetable beds twice a day . They water them early in the morning at six o'clock and late in the evening at eight o'clock . They never water the plants at noon because the hot sun can burn the leaves . Thomas works very hard to manage this lovely community space . He visits the garden every single day . He always checks the soil and makes sure that the tools are safe . Saturdays at the community garden are always filled with laughter , teamwork , and beautiful nature . It is a wonderful project that brings the whole neighborhood together .
