Interviewer : Good morning , Marco . Thank you for coming . This role includes weekend shifts on regional routes . Why will you succeed in busy carriages ? Marco : I worked in a hotel last year and I learned calm speech when guests will arrive tired or confused . I will use the same tone when passengers will ask about stops , delays , or seat numbers during peak hours . Interviewer : How will you handle safety announcements if noise will rise before departure ? Marco : I will speak slowly and repeat key words when children will talk near the doors . I will check the microphone volume before each journey so messages will stay clear at the rear of the train . Interviewer : Passengers will sometimes dispute seat reservations . What will you do first ? Marco : I will read the reservation code aloud and I will ask both passengers to show tickets on their phones . If confusion will continue , I will call the senior steward and I will offer temporary seats nearby until the system will confirm numbers . Interviewer : Catering trolleys will sell out on popular Friday services . How will you manage expectations ? Marco : I will announce remaining items when stock will fall below ten units . I will suggest alternatives if coffee will finish early , and I will note requests for the next station team when supplies will reload at the depot . Interviewer : Winter schedules will bring delays because of weather . What will you tell travellers ? Marco : I will share updates from the driver as soon as information will arrive on the staff tablet . I will explain connections calmly and I will point passengers toward help desks if they will miss transfers because storms will block lines . Interviewer : Teams will rotate between morning and evening routes . Will flexible hours suit you ? Marco : Yes , I will adapt because my language course will finish by April and evening classes will not conflict after that . I will rest on off days so attention will stay sharp when long shifts will include four return trips . Interviewer : Colleagues say humour helps on Sunday leisure services . Will you use jokes with passengers ? Marco : I will keep humour light and polite . If families will travel to the coast , I will mention scenic points before arrival , but I will never delay safety checks for entertainment . Interviewer : Training will start next month with exams on procedures . How will you prepare ? Marco : I will study manuals every evening and I will practice announcements at home until pronunciation will sound natural . I will ask mentors for feedback when practice runs will stop at quiet stations . Interviewer : If we will offer you the position , when will you begin ? Marco : I will start on the first Monday in June if paperwork will finish on time . I will buy comfortable shoes this week because miles in carriages will feel longer than hotel corridors ever did . Interviewer : Thank you , Marco . We will call candidates by Friday if interviews will finish as planned .
