Arthur loves the smell of fresh bread. He is a passionate home baker who lives in a small town in Wales. He does not have a professional bakery, but he bakes delicious bread, sweet rolls, and croissants for his family and neighbors. Everyone in the town enjoys his wonderful creations.

Every Saturday, Arthur rises very early. He starts his work at four o'clock in the morning while everyone else sleeps. First, he walks into his warm kitchen and preheats his large oven. Then, he prepares the flour, water, yeast, and salt. He always uses high-quality ingredients because he wants his bread to taste perfect.

Arthur mixes the dough with his hands. He never uses an electric mixer because he likes to feel the texture of the dough. He kneads the dough on his wooden table for fifteen minutes. He says that kneading is like a good morning exercise. It makes his arms strong.

After kneading, Arthur leaves the dough in a big bowl for two hours. During this time, the dough rises. While he waits, Arthur drinks a cup of warm coffee and reads a newspaper in his garden. He sometimes listens to the birds singing in the old apple trees.

At seven o'clock, the dough is ready. Arthur shapes it into round loaves of bread or long baguettes. He puts them on baking trays and covers them with a clean towel. He lets them rest for another thirty minutes before they go into the oven.

Finally, he bakes the bread for forty minutes. Soon, a sweet and delicious smell fills his entire house. It goes out of the windows and travels down the street. When the neighbors smell the hot bread, they know that Arthur's weekend shop is open.

At nine o'clock, Arthur sets up a small table in his garden. He places his fresh bread, sweet croissants, and warm buns on the table. Neighbors always visit his garden to buy his bakery products. Arthur enjoys chatting with them. He usually sells all his bread in less than an hour.

In the afternoon, Arthur rests. He goes for a walk in the forest or works in his vegetable garden. He grows fresh tomatoes, onions, and garlic. He often cooks a delicious vegetable soup for his family using his own ingredients.

Before Arthur goes to sleep, he writes down new recipes in his notebook. He always thinks about new flavors for his bread. He wants to bake blueberry rolls next weekend.

Arthur goes to bed at ten o'clock. He feels tired but very satisfied. He loves his baking hobby because it makes people smile. His delicious bread brings happiness to his small Welsh town.
