The wild animals in the forest do not fear people. Squirrels run up the tall trees and look at the visitors. They do not hide when children walk past them. Sometimes, they even eat nuts from people's hands.
The birds sing beautiful songs all day. The noise of the busy city streets does not enter this quiet place. Inside the forest, you do not hear loud car horns or train engines. Visitors do not feel stressed when they walk under the green trees.
The plants in the forest do not need artificial watering. Nature takes care of everything. The grass does not grow too high because rabbits eat it. Big oak trees do not die easily because their roots are very deep.
People who visit the forest do not bring their cars inside. They walk on the dirt paths or ride their bicycles. They do not drop trash on the ground because they want to keep the forest clean and beautiful.
There is a small lake in the center of the forest. The water is clean and cold. People do not swim in the lake because it is a home for wild ducks and fish. Boats do not travel on this water.
The forest ranger, Mr. Jackson, works here every day. He does not sit in an office. He walks through the forest to check on the trees and animals. He does not allow loud music or campfires.
At night, the forest does not sleep completely. Owls wake up and fly between the branches. But they do not make loud noises. The city lights do not disturb them because the trees are very thick.
Many citizens love this forest. They do not want to see new concrete buildings here. They believe that a healthy city does not exist without a green forest.
