My mother works from home now. She is a writer of children's books. She has a bright study room that looks out at the sea. She writes stories about magical sea creatures. She does not miss her old city office because she loves the quietness of the coast. She often walks on the beach to find new ideas.
Do my brother and I go to a local school? Yes, we do. Our new school is small, but the teachers are very friendly. We walk to school every morning. We do not take a bus anymore. After classes, we do not stay at home. We run to the beach, search for beautiful shells, or watch the white seagulls in the sky.
Sometimes, our cousin Max visits us on weekends. Does he like the sea? Yes, he does. He is a big city boy from London, so everything here is a big adventure for him. We build sandcastles together, but we do not swim in the sea when the water is too cold.
In the evening, our family sits on the terrace. The sunset over the sea is always magnificent. My father plays his acoustic guitar, and we sing happy songs. We do not watch television, and we do not spend time on our phones.
Our life is very simple now, but it is wonderful. We love our house, we love the sea, and we enjoy every single day in our cozy seaside village.
