Una historia que describe la rutina de un café de pueblo, que combina acciones, estados, formas negativas y preguntas simples en Present Simple.
The cafe is inside an old stone building with large glass windows. There are many colorful flowers near the entrance. Clara works hard to make her shop beautiful.
The doors open at seven o'clock every morning. Clara arrives early to prepare everything. She brews fresh coffee, bakes sweet apple pies, and sets the wooden tables. Soon, a wonderful smell of warm cinnamon fills the street.
Many local people visit the cafe before they go to work. They want to drink hot coffee and read the morning newspaper. Do they rush? No, they do not like to rush. They usually sit for a few minutes and enjoy the calm morning.
Some customers often ask Clara questions during breakfast. "Do you have fresh chocolate croissants today?" or "Is the ginger tea hot?" Clara always smiles and answers quickly. She loves chatting with her visitors.
Clara's brother, James, also works at the cafe. But he does not make coffee or bake pies. James is a professional chef, so he prepares healthy lunches. He makes delicious vegetable soups and fresh green salads.
James does not use any frozen ingredients because he prefers organic food. Local farmers always bring him fresh eggs, potatoes, and tomatoes every morning.
In the afternoon, the cafe is very quiet. Children do not visit because they are at school, and adults work in their offices. During this time, Clara cleans the counter and James orders ingredients for the next day.
A group of local musicians sometimes visits the cafe on Thursday evenings. They play soft acoustic music in the corner. Is the cafe crowded on these nights? Yes, many villagers come to listen and drink warm herbal tea.
At eight o'clock in the evening, Clara and James close the doors. They feel tired, but they do not want to change their job. The Green Village Cafe is their favorite place in the world.
