Un relato sobre la mudanza de Alex a Londres y su nuevo trabajo de diseño, integrando varias estructuras en Present Simple.
London is a very big and noisy city. There are millions of people, tall buildings, and busy red buses on the streets. Is Alex afraid of the big city? No, he is not afraid, but he feels very excited and a little nervous.
Every morning, Alex wakes up at seven o'clock. His new apartment is small, but it is very modern and comfortable. He prepares a quick breakfast and drinks some hot tea.
Then, he walks to the underground station. He does not drive a car in London because the traffic is terrible. The trains are always crowded, but they run very quickly.
Alex starts his work at nine o'clock. He designs logos and websites on his computer. He loves his new job, but he does not understand everything yet. He often asks his manager questions like, "Do we use this color?" or "Is this layout correct?"
His colleagues are very friendly and helpful. They always eat lunch together at a small Italian pizzeria near the office. They do not talk about work during lunch. They talk about sports and movies instead.
In the evening, Alex does not go home immediately. He attends an advanced English class twice a week. He wants to improve his speaking skills. The students in his class come from many different countries.
Do they speak English well? Some students speak very well, and some are beginners. They practice together and do fun activities. Alex always does his homework in the evening.
At nine o'clock, Alex returns to his quiet apartment. He is tired, but he does not regret his decision to move. London is a busy place, but it offers many great opportunities for his future.
