Un relato sobre la exigente rutina de entrenamiento de un equipo de natación, que integra formas afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas en Present Simple.
The sports center is a huge and modern building. It has a very large swimming pool with blue water, a modern gym, and a small cafe for visitors. The pool is always clean and warm.
The swimmers arrive at the sports center very early. Their first training session starts at six o'clock in the morning. Is the water cold in the morning? No, the water is perfect, but the swimmers always do a warm-up on land first.
Coach William is very strict during the training. He watches the swimmers carefully and checks their speed with a stopwatch. He often asks them questions: "Are you tired?" or "Do you feel any pain in your shoulders?"
The swimmers work hard in the water. They swim many laps and practice different styles. They do not complain because they want to become champions. They listen to the coach's advice very carefully.
At nine o'clock, the morning training finishes. The swimmers go to the changing rooms to take a hot shower. They do not eat unhealthy food like hamburgers or sweets. They have a healthy breakfast of fruit, eggs, and yogurt instead.
In the afternoon, the sports center is busy with children's classes. Coach William does not teach the small children. His assistant, Emily, teaches them how to swim and play water games.
Coach William sits in his office and plans the next training sessions. He also talks to parents and answers their questions. Does he work on weekends? Yes, he sometimes travels with his team to swimming competitions on Saturdays.
At seven o'clock in the evening, the sports center closes. Coach William locks his office and walks home. He is tired, but he is very proud of his swimmers and loves his sporty lifestyle.
