This event always begins at nine o'clock and finishes at noon. Twice a month, on Friday nights, they have an outdoor community dinner. Everyone brings some food, and they cook over a campfire from seven to ten o'clock.
The garden has strict rules about watering. During hot summer months, members water the vegetable beds twice a day. They water them early in the morning at six o'clock and late in the evening at eight o'clock. They never water the plants at noon because the hot sun can burn the leaves.
Thomas works very hard to manage this lovely community space. He visits the garden every single day. He always checks the soil and makes sure that the tools are safe.
Saturdays at the community garden are always filled with laughter, teamwork, and beautiful nature. It is a wonderful project that brings the whole neighborhood together.
