Today is a beautiful Saturday. The sun is bright in the blue sky. My family goes to a big zoo. The zoo is a very popular place in our city.

First, we buy the tickets. A friendly woman at the gate sells the tickets. We walk on a wide path. Near the path, there is a tall tree. Under the tree, we see a giant elephant. The elephant is very grey and old. The elephant eats a green leaf from a branch.

Next, we see a beautiful lion. The lion is in a safe cage. The lion sleeps on a large rock. The rock is hot under the sun. Near the cage, there is an ice cream shop. My little brother wants an ice cream. The ice cream is very sweet.

Then, we look at the monkeys. A funny monkey plays with a yellow ball. The ball goes into a small pool of water. The monkey jumps into the pool and takes the ball. The monkeys are very loud, but they are very funny.

In the afternoon, we see a rare bird. The bird has a blue tail and a yellow head. The bird sits on an orange flower. It sings a beautiful song. A young boy takes a picture of the bird. The boy is happy.

Finally, we visit a gift shop. In the shop, there is a cute toy and an interesting book about animals. My mother buys the toy for my brother. The toy is a small giraffe.

It is an amazing day. We walk back to the bus stop. The bus is already at the stop. We enter the bus and go home.
