A young boy builds a sandcastle near the water. He uses a plastic bucket and a small shovel. The sandcastle is very big. He wants to make a high tower on the top. He places a small red flag on the tower. The sister looks at the castle and smiles. She joins him and they play together in the wet sand.
In the afternoon, they see an old boat on the water. The boat is red and white. An old man is inside the boat. He is a local fisherman. He waves to the children. The children wave back. A white bird flies over the boat. It is a seagull. The seagull is hungry and looks for a small fish in the water.
Later, the family feels hungry. They sit under the green umbrella to eat their lunch. The mother gives a sandwich to the father. She gives a sweet pear to the boy. The sister eats an egg sandwich. Everything tastes delicious at the beach. After the lunch, they drink a cold glass of lemonade.
They also see a small shop near the beach entrance. The shop sells cold drinks, sweet ice cream, and nice postcards. The father walks to the shop and buys a chocolate ice cream for his son and a strawberry ice cream for his daughter. The children are very happy. They thank their father.
Before they leave, they take a family photo. The father holds the camera. The mother and the children stand near the water. The background is the beautiful ocean. The children laugh and jump. It is a wonderful photo. The family is very happy.
In the evening, the sun goes down. The sky turns orange and purple. The family collects their bag, the towels, and the ball. They walk back to their car. They are tired but very happy. It was a perfect day at the beach.
