My mother can cook very well. She can make many dishes. Her soups are especially good. She can make vegetable soup, chicken soup, and tomato soup. She can also bake bread. Her bread is warm and fresh. She cannot play music, but she can listen to it all day. Her favourite music is classical. It is always on in the kitchen when she cooks.
My sister is fourteen years old. She can speak two languages. Her English is very good. She can understand films without subtitles. She can write well too. Her essays are always long. But she cannot cook. She says she does not like the kitchen. Her room has lots of books in it.
I can do different things. I can draw. My drawings are not perfect, but I like them. I can also use a computer quickly. There is a computer in my room. I can type fast. I can find information on the internet. But I cannot play music like my father. I cannot cook like my mother.
In my family, we can help each other. My mother can teach my sister to cook. My sister can teach me to write better. My father can teach all of us music. I can help my father with the computer. There is always something new to learn.
My grandfather can also do special things. He can fix broken things. His toolbox is in the cellar. It is a big, red toolbox. He can repair chairs, doors, and windows. He can build things with wood. But he cannot use a smartphone. It is too complicated for him. I can show him how to send a photo. He is always surprised.
Every person can do something well. There is a skill in everyone. In my family, we are proud of our different abilities. We can share what we know. We can support each other. That is what families do.
