A Day at School

The library is on the second floor of our school. There are long rows of books on the shelves. The reference books are on the shelf at the far wall. Dictionaries are in a special section at the left side of the room.
At lunchtime, we eat in the school canteen. Our trays go on the long counter at the entrance. I always sit at a round table in the middle of the room. My classmates sit next to me on the benches.
In the afternoon, we have science class. The science room is on the ground floor at the end of the main corridor. There are instruments on the tables. Our bags sit on hooks at the wall. We write our findings in notebooks on our desks.
The sports hall is in the basement of the building. We change in a small room at the side of the hall. Our bags go in the lockers at the wall. We run and play games in the large open space in the middle.
After school, I wait at the bus stop on Oak Street. My bus arrives at half past three. I sit at the window seat when I find one free. I put my bag on my knees or on the seat next to me.
At home, I do homework at my desk in my room. I keep all my school books on the shelf above the desk. I put my pencil case in the drawer when I finish. I feel happy and relaxed at home after a long day at school.
