My street has many different buildings. There are houses, flats, and two small shops. My home is a flat on the second floor of a building. Our building is white with a red roof. There is a small garden in front of it. There are roses and other flowers in the garden.
Our neighbours are friendly. The family on the right is the Greens. They have three children. The youngest child is five. His name is Leo. He is a cheerful boy. He can ride his scooter in the garden. The family on the left is Mrs Park. She is an older lady. She lives alone. Her cat sits in her window every morning.
There is a small park two minutes from our building. I can walk there quickly. There are trees, a fountain, and benches in the park. Older people often sit on the benches and talk. Children can play near the fountain. There is a flower bed in the centre of the park. In spring, it is full of colour.
Near the park there is a bakery. It opens at seven in the morning. There are many types of bread and pastry in the bakery. The baker is a tall man with a big apron. His bakery is the best in the area.
There is also a small supermarket on my street. I can buy most things there. There are fruit, vegetables, dairy products, and snacks. There is a cafe inside the supermarket. My mother can sit there with her friends on Saturdays.
My neighbourhood is a safe and pleasant place. There are streetlights on every corner. At night, the streets are quiet. In the morning, there is the sound of birds in the trees.
I am happy to live here. It is my home and my community. There is everything I need close by. My friends live nearby too. We can meet in the park or at the cafe. There is always something to do in my neighbourhood.
