We read the price tags on the shelf. The grey phone was cheaper than the blue phone by twenty pounds. Leah said cheaper is better for our budget this month. I said the blue phone was faster than the grey one in the online reviews we read at home.
The assistant opened a comparison chart. He said the blue battery lasts longer than the grey battery during video calls. The grey camera was simpler than the blue camera, but it still took clearer photos than Leah's old phone.
We tested both phones near the window. The blue phone connected to Wi-Fi faster than the grey phone in the shop. Music sounded louder on the grey speaker, but the blue speaker was clearer than the grey speaker for podcasts.
Leah asked about weight. The grey phone was lighter than the blue phone in her hand. I thought lighter is easier for our cousin because she walks to work every day. The assistant agreed and said the grey model is more popular than the blue one among students.
We compared memory next. The blue phone had more storage than the grey phone, and the apps opened faster than on the display model we tried first. Leah said more storage is more useful than a fancy colour, even though the blue phone looked prettier than the grey one.
The assistant showed a third phone that was smaller than both models. That phone was the cheapest in the row, but it was also the slowest when we opened maps. Leah said the cheapest option is not always the best choice for daily work.
After twenty minutes Leah chose the grey phone. It was less expensive than the blue one, yet it was new enough for our cousin. I said the grey phone is better than Leah's current phone in every way we tested.
On the bus home Leah said shopping together was easier than choosing alone. I agreed, and I thought the shop assistant was more helpful than the website chat we tried last week. Leah smiled and said our cousin will be happier with this phone than with the old slow model she used before.
