I am Clara. I live with my aunt Rosa and my cousin Ben. On Tuesday I woke up late because my alarm did not ring. Rosa knocked on my door and said there was not much time before the morning bus.

I jumped out of bed and asked if there was any clean uniform in the cupboard. Rosa said she hung some shirts on the chair last night. I chose one and looked for some socks, but I could not find any matching pair at first.

In the bathroom I washed my face quickly. Ben asked if I wanted some toast. I said yes please, but only some small pieces because I did not have much appetite when I rushed. He put some jam on a plate and passed it to me.

Rosa asked if I packed any books for school. I opened my bag and said I had some notebooks but I forgot some coloured pens. She gave me some pens from a drawer and said many students forget small things on busy mornings.

At the table Ben asked if we had any milk left. Rosa looked in the fridge and said there was some milk, not much, but enough for some cereal. I poured some milk into a bowl and ate some bites while I tied my shoes.

Before we left Rosa asked if I had any bus money. I checked my pocket and said I had some coins but not many. Ben lent me some change and said I could return some coins after school. I thanked him and grabbed some keys from the hook.

We ran to the stop because the clock showed few minutes left. An older woman asked if any bus would come soon. Rosa said some buses arrived early on this road, but today traffic caused some delay.

The bus appeared around the corner. The driver asked if anyone had any student passes ready. I showed mine and sat near some classmates. One girl asked if I had any homework to compare. I said I finished some exercises but not all of them.

At school my teacher asked if any students had questions about the test. I raised my hand and asked if we needed any special pens. She said some blue pens were fine and we did not need any calculators for this paper.

During break some friends shared some fruit. Tom asked if I wanted any apple slices. I said I would take some because I ate not much breakfast. Nina said she brought some nuts but she did not have many left in the bag.

In the library I asked the assistant if they had any quiet study rooms free. She said some rooms were busy but she could find some space near the window. I thanked her and read some pages before the next class.

After school Ben sent a message and asked if I needed any help with math. I said some problems were hard and I did not understand any of the last section.
