Dear diary,

Today felt long. I had many classes before lunch and not much time to eat. The cafeteria had some soup left, but I did not see any free tables near my friends.

In math the teacher gave us some exercises on fractions. I understood some steps, yet many problems looked confusing at first. I asked Elena if she had any notes from last week, and she shared some pages after class.

Science class was better. We watched some videos about plants and wrote some short answers. The lab assistant said we would need any goggles next time because some experiments use liquids. I must remember to pack some old glasses in my bag.

After school I went to the library because I had some history reading to finish. The room was quiet, but some students talked near the door. I found some space by the window and read for forty minutes without many interruptions.

At home Mom asked if I wanted any help with English vocabulary. I said yes because I forgot some words from the list. We practiced some sentences together, and she said I made not many mistakes tonight.

Tuesday felt similar. Many teachers assigned homework on the same day. I told Marco I did not have much energy for chat messages. He sent some funny photos anyway, and they gave me some smiles during a hard evening.

Wednesday brought a test in geography. I studied some maps last night but not all rivers. In the exam I remembered some names and missed any detail about two countries. The teacher said many students struggled with that section.

Thursday was club day. I joined some friends at the music room. We did not have much practice time, yet we learned some new chords. The coach asked if anyone had any spare strings, and Tom lent some from his case.

Friday finally arrived. I still had some homework, but not as much as on Monday. Mom said we could order some pizza if I finished before eight. I worked fast, made some errors, corrected them, and earned some rest on the sofa.

This week taught me that many classes can fill a diary quickly, but some help from friends and some quiet minutes in the library can balance too much stress. Next week I will pack some snacks and ask any teacher for some extra time when I need it.

Good night,
Sofia
