Interviewer: Thanks for coming today. Our talk starts at two and ends at two forty-five. First, when do you usually study during the week?

Applicant: I study at seven in the evening on weekdays after work ends at five. On Saturday I review notes at ten in the morning for two hours. In the summer I sometimes study outside at four when the park is quiet.

Interviewer: And when do you rest or exercise?

Applicant: I run at six on Monday and at six on Wednesday near the river path. On Sunday I rest at home in the afternoon and read at three. In winter I prefer the gym at seven at night because cold air hurts my lungs at dawn.

Interviewer: Tell me about a busy period in your life.

Applicant: Last year in September I started a new course at the college. Classes were on Tuesday at nine and on Thursday at one. I worked part-time at a café on Friday at four and on Saturday at eleven.

Interviewer: How did you manage time then?

Applicant: I planned meals on Sunday at five for the whole week. I slept at ten on school nights and at eleven on Friday. In October exams began on the fifteenth, so I studied at the library at eight in the morning.

Interviewer: When can you start this job if we offer it?

Applicant: I can start on the first of next month at nine on my first day. I need to give notice at my current job on the twentieth at the latest. In two weeks I can finish handover tasks at the office by four each day.

Interviewer: Good. We decide on candidates on Friday at five and call people on Monday at ten. In the meantime send references by email at any time before Thursday at noon.

Applicant: Thank you. I will send them tonight at eight after I contact my former manager. On Thursday I am available at three for a second talk if needed.

Interviewer: Perfect. Have a good afternoon and arrive calm at two next time if we invite you back.
