At Rosa's birthday dinner, friends have asked questions that have turned into stories about time. The main topic has become simple: how long have we known each other, and how have our lives changed since those first meetings?

Rosa and I have known each other for fifteen years. We have shared classrooms, flat hunts, and career doubts since we were teenagers. She has lived abroad for three years, yet we have spoken every week since she moved.

Mark has been Rosa's neighbour for six years. He has collected her post during holidays since 2019, and they have exchanged spare keys since a storm flooded her hallway. Trust has grown quietly during those routines.
