Gym membership: for/since (B1)

Front desk staff have scanned my membership card and have asked how long I have trained here. I have answered that I have attended classes for eight months since I signed up in February.

Morning yoga sessions have run for ninety minutes since the studio opened at six. I have joined them twice a week for five months, and flexibility has improved since I stopped skipping warm-ups.

The weight room has felt intimidating, yet a trainer has guided newcomers for thirty-minute introductions since March. I have used free weights for four months under supervision, and confidence has grown since I learned proper form.

Locker rooms have been renovated since July. Showers have worked reliably since the plumbing update, and members have commented that cleanliness has stayed consistent for weeks.

Nutrition workshops have taken place monthly since spring. I have attended three sessions for two hours each, and I have applied meal-planning tips since May. Energy levels during workouts have felt steadier since those changes.

Socially I have met training partners for six months. We have exchanged encouragement since April, and one partner has prepared for a charity run since June. Shared goals have made early alarms easier.

Staff have tracked attendance digitally since January. The app has reminded me when I have missed a week, and streaks have motivated me since gamification launched in August.

Costs have seemed high at first, yet value has appeared over months. Health improvements since February have outweighed price concerns I have had since budgeting in winter.

Eight months have not transformed my body completely, yet habits have shifted. For periods measured in weeks and starting points measured in calendar months, this membership has structured my routine more effectively than home exercise ever has.
