Notice to All Library Patrons : Extended Opening Hours and Study Room Guidelines for Autumn Examination Period . The Central Municipal Library is delighted to announce that starting next Monday , our main reading halls and silent research galleries will operate under extended opening schedules to support students and independent researchers preparing for upcoming academic assessments . Under these temporary revisions , patrons may access the primary reference collections and computer workstations until ten o'clock every weekday evening . Registered university and college students may reserve private individual study carrels up to seven days in advance through our digital library portal . Please note that high demand could lead to rapid reservation of study desks , so we encourage early bookings to avoid disappointment during peak revision weeks . To ensure a peaceful and productive academic environment for everyone , all visitors must observe our updated code of conduct . Mobile telephones must remain on silent mode at all times , although patrons may take urgent personal calls in the designated lobby phone booth near reception . Lidded beverage containers are permitted at study desks , but eating food could damage fragile library books and is strictly prohibited in the main reading rooms . Library staff are always available to assist visitors with historical research and digital catalog navigation . If you cannot locate an essential reference text on the shelves , an assistant librarian might be able to request an inter - library loan from regional university archives .
