I am Priya. My alarm rings at six thirty, and I switch it off before it wakes my roommate. I switch the alarm off with one tap and switch it off gently so the room stays quiet.

I pick my phone up from the nightstand and pick it up to check the weather. The app says I should put a warm coat on because the bus stop feels cold. I put the coat on near the door and put it on after I find my keys.

In the bathroom I wipe the sink off quickly and wipe it off after brushing my teeth. I take my pyjamas off and take them off, then I hang the pyjamas up behind the door and hang them up to air.

The kitchen is small but busy. I fill the coffee machine up with water and fill it up before I switch the machine on. I switch it on and wait while the aroma spreads. I clean the counter up from yesterday's crumbs and clean it up with a sponge.

My bag sits by the chair. I pick the bag up and pick it up, then I take my lunch box out and take it out of the fridge. I put the lunch box into the bag and put it in beside my notebook.

The phone rings again. It is my manager. I pick the call up and pick it up, speaking softly so I do not disturb anyone. She asks me to write the client number down and write it down before the meeting. I grab a pen, write the digits down on a sticky note, and write them down near my laptop.

After the call I hang the phone up and hang it up. I look the train time up online and look it up to see whether I should leave early. The website says I should take an earlier bus, so I put my shoes on faster and put them on while the kettle cools.

Near the door I switch the hallway light on and switch it on because the stairwell looks dark. I lock the flat, then I switch the light off and switch it off behind me. I pick the post up from the floor and pick it up; a letter needs an answer today.

Outside I throw an empty bottle away in the recycling bin and throw it away before walking to the stop. On the bus I take my headphones out and take them out to listen to a podcast. I turn the volume down and turn it down when someone sits nearby.

At the office I hang my coat up in the closet and hang it up on the same hook as yesterday. I switch my computer on and switch it on, then I set the meeting link up on the screen and set it up for the team.

My colleague asks me to hand the printed report in before noon and hand it in to reception.
