Interviewer: Thanks for joining us today, Marco. Can you walk us through a typical morning?

Marco: Sure. I usually wake up at six thirty and get up straight away. I find that if I lie in, I fall behind before the day starts. I make coffee, check in with my team chat, and write down three priorities for the day.

Interviewer: How do you handle interruptions?

Marco: I try to block out focus time, but calls still come in. When that happens, I note the topic and promise to ring back after my deep work session. Colleagues know I will follow up, so they do not keep pushing.

Interviewer: Do you ever work from cafés?

Marco: Sometimes. I pack up my laptop, head out around ten, and settle down where Wi-Fi is stable. I log in to our project board and tick off tasks as I finish them. Noise does not bother me if I wear headphones.

Interviewer: What happens when projects grow unexpectedly?

Marco: We sit down with stakeholders and figure out scope. If deadlines are tight, we break down deliverables into smaller pieces. I ask teammates to speak up early when they run out of capacity so we can bring in help.

Interviewer: How do you switch off after work?

Marco: I shut down the computer by six whenever possible. I go out for a walk, meet friends, or cook dinner slowly. On Fridays I sometimes stay up late watching films, but I try not to let work emails pull me back in.

Interviewer: Any advice for new hires?

Marco: Show up prepared, ask questions, and do not be afraid to point out confusion. Teams get along better when people clear up misunderstandings quickly. Small habits like writing down decisions prevent bigger problems later.
