Me: Hello. I am calling about order 4472. The tracking page says the driver tried to deliver yesterday, but nobody was home. I need to pick the parcel up from the depot instead.
Agent: I can arrange that. May I take your postcode and write it down in the system?
Me: It is BN4 8LP. Could you look the order number up again and look it up while I wait?
Agent: Thank you. I see the note. You can pick the box up after four today and pick it up from Bay C. Please bring ID.
Me: Perfect. Should I fill a collection form in at the desk or fill it in online first?
Agent: You can fill it in on a tablet when you arrive. If the line is long, you may also fill the form in on our website and fill it in before you come.
Me: One more thing. The label on the email told me to switch notifications on in the app. I switched them on, yet I received no alert. I switched the alerts off and on again, but nothing changed.
Agent: I will note that. Please log out, then log in again. That often clears the problem. Also check whether you turned data saving mode on; it can block messages.
Me: I will try that. When I get the parcel, should I sign the sheet at the counter?
Agent: Yes. The clerk will hand a pen to you. After you sign, she will hand the package over. If the box looks damaged, do not throw the outer wrap away until we inspect photos. Keep it and take pictures.
Me: Understood. I will take my receipt out of my wallet and take it out in case she asks for the order code.
