Lisa says, "Thank you. We are from Canada. We are teachers at the language school on Park Street."
Anna says, "That sounds interesting. We are from Italy. Marco works at the Italian restaurant near the park."
Tom looks at Marco. "Are you the cook there?"
Marco laughs. "Yes, I am. The restaurant is busy at lunch. The food is popular with students."
Lisa asks, "Do you have children?"
Anna nods. "We have one daughter. Her name is Sofia. She is nineteen and she is at the university."
Tom says, "Our son Ben is twelve. He likes football. He is at school today."
Lisa says, "Our apartment is on the first floor. It is small but it is clean. The kitchen is new."
Anna says, "We are on the second floor. The bedroom windows are big. The view of the park is beautiful."
Marco asks, "Are you tired after the move?"
Tom sighs. "Yes, we are tired. The boxes are in every room. But the street is quiet and the neighbours are friendly."
Lisa adds, "The weather is warm today. We are happy to be here."
Anna says, "Sunday is a good day for coffee. There is a cafe on the corner. The coffee there is excellent."
Tom says, "We are free on Sunday afternoon. Are you free too?"
Anna says, "Yes, we are free. Sofia is home on Sunday. She is friendly and she speaks good English."
Lisa smiles. "Ben is shy but he is kind. We are excited to meet your family."
They talk for a few more minutes. Then Tom and Lisa go inside. Anna and Marco feel good. The new neighbours are nice people. It is a friendly street."
